Shueisha, Inc. (株式会社集英社 () Kabushiki Kaisha Shūeisha, lit. "Shueisha Publishing Co., Ltd.") is a major publisher in Japan. The company was founded in 1925 as the entertainment-related publishing division of Japanese publisher Shogakukan. The following year, Shueisha became a separate, independent company.

Shueisha has published the majority of Tanemura's works from her short-story collection Short-Tempered Melancholic to Sakura Hime: The Legend of Princess Sakura. In November 2011, Tanemura became a freelance manga artist and no longer works solely for Shueisha.[1]
